Approximately 3 in 10 Republicans say in a new poll they believe former President Trump will be reinstated this year.

The Politico-Morning Consult Poll published on Wednesday found the vast majority of Americans dismiss the idea that Trump will be reinstated as president, including 61 percent of Republicans. Twenty-nine percent of GOP respondents, however, said they believe Trump will be made president again.

More than 8 in 10 Democrats — 84 percent — and 70 percent of independents also dismiss the notion that Trump will be made president after it is proven President Biden cheated in the election.

  1. Well I guess I’m one of the 7 who would NOT vote for President Trump again. He was a great President. He had his chance. It’s over. It’s time to move on. At the end of the day he’s a Manhattan liberal. He was never a true Conservative. I didn’t vote for him in the primary. I voted for Mike Huckabee. I did vote for President Trump in the general election, both in 16 & 20. Thank God Hillary didn’t get in. The only reason Donald Trump won the Republican primary over Ted Cruz is because the little infantile grubby narcissistic selfish loser, John Kasich, refused to drop out. For all you Trump haters out there, selfish John Kasich is what brought you this gift.
True Conservatives are moving forward. Please join me.

    • Three in ten believe he will be reinstated as President due to the 2020 election being declared fraudulent. The survey is not whether or not they would vote for him.

      • the election was not fraudulent. It was the most secure election, even Trump’s henchman Bill Barr said so. The republican party is an embarrassment. The Democrats have their kooks and bigots but nothing like what is going on in the Republican party. Donald Trump encouraged an insurrection against the country he was leading. Republicans are trying to rewrite history. It doesn’t matter how the virus got lose in china, it matters how Trump dealt with the virus when it came to America. Republicans love to attach Fauci but wasn’t Trump the President at the time?
Republicans fear for their family because of Trump supporters. We as Jews now have white nationalist and racist leftist coming after us. It would be nice if the truth would be embraced than selectively posting a narrative that makes you feel better.
This was part of the IG report that came out this week but it is not the headline on Matzav.
“‘Are these people still going to be here when POTUS comes out?’ Mr. Barr asked ….The operations commander replied , ‘Are you freaking kidding me?’ and then hung his head and walked away …. Shortly after that, the confrontation turned violent.”
He is not going to be President again.

        • “We as Jews now have white nationalist and racist leftist coming after us”

Are you kidding me?! You are a demented brainwashed DNC idol worshipper. Every crime committed recently against Yidden in NYC and many other cities, have been perpetrated by blacks or Muslims (during the Gaza conflict). I challenge you to prove that ANY of the crimes against Yidden were committed by “white nationalist’s!!! You’re so blinded by your jealousy & hate against anything Republican. You’re an idiot not even worthy of a response.

  2. Although there is precedent for reinstating or replacing elected officials based on recounts or fraud, it is not clear that this would be relevant here even if there was clear evidence of fraud in large enough numbers to swing the election.
The reason for that is, the legally binding process for electing a president is the electoral college sent to DC by the state legislatures (technically the legislature may be able to send electors in contrast with the vote).
As such, there is a strong legal case that the man elected on January 6 is the President regardless of whether or not the election was stolen.

    • The Texas bar association is investigating whether state Attorney General Ken Paxton’s failed efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election based on bogus claims of fraud amounted to professional misconduct. The only fraud so far that was found was done by Republicans.
