3 More Die of Swine Flu in New York City

swine-flu1New York City officials have reported three more deaths from swine flu. The city health department announced the deaths today, bringing the city’s total to 12. The city said that one victim was 30 to 39 years old, another was 50 to 59 and another was over 65. Officials wouldn’t identify the victims further or say when they died. Thousands of New Yorkers are believed to have had swine flu. City health officials say most suffered only mild symptoms.   1. I live out of town and it seems it’s just as prevalent in cities out of NY, but the doctors say there is not much you can do. They don’t even want to test anymore, since if someone has it they just say to take Motrin and wait until the fever goes away. Our school sent out a notice to keep children home for a full week if someone has the symptoms (runny nose, diarrhea, fever…)
