After months of heartbreaking stories of ‘COVID tragedies’ in the last year, a story came out today which shocked and moved even the most desensitized. Osnat Benshitrit was a 31-year-old mother of 4, from Givat Shmuel. When she tested positive for COVID last week, the family was not particularly worried, as she was young and completely healthy. That made it all the more shocking when her condition rapidly deteriorated and she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors found her to be suffering multiple organ failure.
Osnat passed away, leaving her community in a state of utter shock.
Today at the levaya, Osnat’s four children stood weeping by her body. In a devastating video [below], her little boys cry “Ima” and wrap their arms around her shrouded body, refusing to let go. “What will I do without you,” widower Yehuda Shitrit said through sobs during the hespedim. The youngest Shitrit child is a one-year-old named Adel Shira.
Donations are being collected to help Yehuda Benshitrit raise his four children with security and safety after this devastating tragedy.

This is a terribly sad story with many important details left out to explain why she passed away. From what I heard, (and I may be missing details as well) she took the first vaccine and got covid shortly after (this often happens after the first vaccine, there seems to be a correlation between the two). After the vaccine, the COVID is much harder to treat and many do not respond well to treatment. She was put on a vent in the hospital which is known to kill people. Early treatment and proper treatments could save lives. We don’t know why this woman and her family were chosen to be a korban for klal yisroel RL. BUT using her case to say that more pregnant woman should be vaccinated would be stepping on her blood and causing more such stories CV. There are safe and effective preventions and treatments for pregnant woman (HCQ, Neprinol, IV vitamin C, nebulizing solutions, etc. ) The vaccine has caused many deaths and using her story as a propaganda to scare pregnant woman to take the experimental vaccine that was not even tested on pregnant women is not only SHEKER but would desecrate her memory. May her family have a nechama and may we hear no more sorrow.

We don’t need to cause any more deaths & sad horrifying stories like these by telling more pregnant women to take chances & be part of a clinical trial!!
