As of midday today, nearly 500 flights have been canceled as a result of a wet and snowy storm hitting the eastern United States. The storm is expected to drop as much as 14 inches of snow in parts of New England.

So far, there are three-hour delays at Newark and LaGuardia airports, and 90 minutes in Philadelphia. The Midwest is expecting 1-3 inches of snow.

The storm will also bring down temperatures across the Northeast on Thanksgiving. Luckily for most, the snowfall will end during the night, and the storm will wind down on Thanksgiving largely over Maine. Read more at USA Today.
