As is well known, the days of Chanukah are days that are mesugal for success in Torah, as the Shelah Hakadosh writes in his sefer. Therefore, it is proper that Bnai Torah should be mischazek in hasmadas Torah, and not, chas vesholem, waste time on events not proper for someone on a ben Torah’s caliber.
And anyone who is mischazek in Torah during this time will surely see success in Torah and Hashem will fulfill kol mishalos libo l’tova.
