The NFL season is already underway and there are many people who are concerned that the season might not last due to the coronavirus pandemic. Without a doubt, the virus has significantly impacted the NFL season already. There are numerous games that have been shifted all over the place and many teams have been forced to reschedule their by weeks as a result. At the same time, the NFL season is rolling on. Even though there are some concerns that the Super Bowl might have to be put back due to the pandemic, the NFL season has gone better than most people would have expected. Therefore, there are a lot of hope that the NFL is actually going to finish their season. With this in mind, who are some of the contenders and who are the pretenders?

The Best Teams in the NFL So Far

First, let’s take a look at the best teams in the NFL, as they are always safe for those who are looking for strong NFL picks. Some of the top teams in the NFL so far this season include:

  • The Pittsburgh Steelers: The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the best teams in the NFL this year. They have a 5-0 record and are led by Ben Roethlisberger. There are many people who believe the Pittsburgh Steelers are headed to the Super Bowl after thrashing the Cleveland Browns once again.

  • The Tennessee Titans: The Tennessee Titans made it to the AFC Championship game last year. They also have a 5-0 record and are led by Derrick Henry, a running back who may be able to steal the MVP award away from a quarterback finally. They also have Ryan Tannehill at quarterback, who is flourishing after fleeing Adam Gase in Miami.

  • The Seattle Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks are the only undefeated team in the NFC. They have a 5-0 record and are led by Russell Wilson. There are rumors that the Seattle Seahawks may be interested in suspended star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who is facing multiple allegations of sexual assault.

Of course, having the best record at the midway point in the season does not necessarily mean that these teams are guaranteed it wind up in the Super Bowl. So far, they are off to a great start; however, there is still a long way to go in the NFL season.

The Worst Team in the NFL: The Jets

If these have been the best teams in the NFL so far, and there is truly only one worst team in the NFL. Right now, the only winless team in the NFL this year is the New York Jets. The New York Jets, and the eyes of many, are a disgrace to the NFL. They simply are non competitive in their football games. Through six games, the New York Jets have been outscored by a collective 110 points. The second-worst mark in the NFL is a Jacksonville Jaguars, who have been outscored by a collective 54 points. The New York Jets ranked dead last in offense, second-worst in defense, and second person penalties. It is a shock that the coach has not yet been fired; however, there are some people who believe the New York Jets are simply tanking so that they can get Trevor Lawrence in the draft. The New York Jets have been nothing but embarrassing this year.
