One thousand Negev Bedouin are to be evacuated from their homes to make way for an extension of Israel’s Highway 6, which runs down the length of the country and is to be continued further south.
Each displaced family will be provided with land and $66,000 in compensation, as well as additional funding from the Highway 6 Company

To build a highway we understand that a private company Is allowed to evacuate and compensate, and rightfully so, but to evacuate and compensate for security, we don’t comprehend, therefore the government hand are tied from doing it.
