After Union With Degel, Controversy Erupts In Agudah Over Belz’s Position Under Vizhnitz

The union between the charedi parties will cost the Belzer Chasidism, who say the agreement signed last week between Agudas Yisrael and Degel Hatorah could displace its representative from the next Knesset.

The relationship between Degel Hatorah and Agudat Yisrael as a joint list was 60-40 in favor of Agudas Yisrael, so that even if the joint list received six mandates, the place of Belz’s AgudasYisrael representative Yisrael Eichler was guaranteed, sometimes in rotation and sometimes for a full term.

However, after the new agreement the relationship between Degel Hatorah and Agudas Yisrael became equal and stands at 50-50. This means that even if Agudas Yisrael wins seven seats, Eichler will be forced to leave the Knesset.

To counter that, Belz is now to be upgraded so that their representative is higher on the list, above Vizhnitz, which Belz claims has a smaller population than them. Belz also made it clear they were not willing to pay alone the cost of the union with Degel Hatorah.

  1. Here we see a clear rayah that, “No good deed goes unpunished”. It’s probably a shtikel kefira to say that but nu nu. Nice guys finish last. Murphy’s law.

  2. Why all this controversy? Didn’t Rav Chaim Kanievsky shlit”a just say “Moshiach Will Arrive Before The Israeli Elections”?
    http://matzav.com/rav-chaim-moshiach-will-arrive-before-the-israeli-elections/

There’s also clear proof according to Gemara that Moshiach will be here soon.
The Gemara (Sanhedrin 98:1) says that Moshiach will come when the corruption of the leaders/politicians/judges will cease. President Trump is b”H fulfilling this prophetic vision. In another few days iy”H the world will see it all behakitz, even Fake News will not be able to cover it up any longer.
We must continue praying for President Trump that Hashem should continue giving him loads of siyatta Dishmaya, hatzlacha and protect and safeguard him and his family.
