Agudah Lawsuit Against Town Of Jackson Over Eruv Amended, Will be Heard In Court

Agudath Israel’s amendment to their lawsuit against the Township of Jackson has been accepted by the court, despite Jackson’s objection.

The change to the lawsuit adds new allegations of discrimination related to the township’s ban on eruvin to the existing lawsuit.

The court’s acceptance that this does not mean the court has ruled on the content of Agudath Israel’s arguments but will allow the argument to be brought to court for adjudication. Read more here.
