  1. כל הכבוד and long overdue, and please mandate it:-
    1) for every Yeshiva student too
    2) for every Shul employee too
    3) for every Shul attender too
It’s long overdue to enforce ונשמרתם מאד לנפשותיכם

    • So, you mean, they should stop people from taking it due to the risks and worse that people have taken – and gotten R”L L”A – from these shots?

That would be ונשמרתם מאד לנפשותיכם.

    • You copy and past your comment on every site. Along with some baloney story on the sites that allow it how your entire shul is going to cancel their memberships in Agudas Yisroe if they don’t retract this letter. Stop trolling. It’s obnoxious.

      • 147 has admitted in a previous post that he is single. Okay, nothing wrong with that. If he expects to get a good shidduch though, he’s going to have to drop this vax mandate nonsense quick. He’s also got to drop his kissing up to Trump. His immature threats are just that… immature.

    • 147,

You sound like you’ve taken it based on your rhetoric so if that’s the case what are you so worried about? You took the Fauchi Ouchi. You should have nothing more to be afraid of.

Unless you’re telling me that it really doesn’t work and it’s all a bunch of hogwash, but that can’t be because that’s not the narrative.

  2. I have to wonder Mr or Mrs147 if you are just as zealous about enforcing the simple meaning of ונשמרתם…, namely enacting mandates with regard to things that are threats to one’s נפש . In addition, just because you think this is the way to go is not reason that those who are following qualified medical professionals that believe that covid vaccines should not be pumped into people who were already infected, must go along with you. Did you ever think about how oxymoronic it is that the same people who believe that it is ok to kill babies because “don’t tell me what to do with my body – a woman has a right to choose”, are all of the sudden passing and supporting mandates taking away the rights of people to choose what to do with their bodies.?

  3. Just so you know, I am a D75 public school teacher and we are severely understaffed this year. When a teacher is out , a sub never comes. We have been so understaffed that dangerous things have happened. The mayor does not want to focus on this and it has never reached the news ( or they don’t want to focus on it) but the vaccine caused a huge teacher shortage and students and teachers are paying for it every day.

    • Aha. But I don’t hear you people complaining when you get all your benefits and pension. You teachers are leaches, ripping off the taxpayers for your do-nothing no-show job. How can a City employee teacher steal from the taxpayers a 6 figure pension, for the rest of their life?! Doing the shtick of working 24/6 the last year before they retire doesn’t justify being a ganiv on the backs of the taxpayers. All the years Randi Weingarten was wreaking havoc on this City, YOU were quiet. Pheh.

      • Not nice. And irrelevant.

The point is that the vaccine mandate is harmful in multiple ways, including the one this teacher pointed out.

      • This is what happens when the vaccinated don’t stand up for the unvaccinated. If you stand up for them and LEAVE WITH THEM… the mandate will crumble.

    • It’s called shtadlanus. It’s a necessary evil in this long and bitter galus. Being in NYC, we are overwhelmingly in the minority. After San Francisco, we are the most liberal City in the nation. Most of the City Council and State assembly/Senate are the lowest deviants known to man. We don’t have a choice. We have to be michaneff them every now and then. I’m davening that we have a brighter future with Eric Adams. He seems to be easily bought out, which is a positive for our Frum community. He seems to feel comfortable with us, understanding our needs and wants. I said the same thing regarding Hillary Clinton. She is easily bought out. I voted for Donald Trump, but I believe, if she would of become President, she would of been good and protective of the Frum community here in America. Not sure about Israel, but as American Jewish citizens, we have to worry about ourselves. She helped a certain situation in New Square.

refreshing to actually see an Intelligent comment. (not saying I agree wholeheartedly).
voting red in blue states is idiotic when your candidate can’t actually win its putting your community towards the back of priority for whoever wins!
