A new survey from Wichita State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University confirms what frequent flyers already knew: Airline quality declined in 2014, giving the industry its worst year since 2009.
Worse, the decline was universal across service areas: airlines lost more bags, denied more passengers boarding, delayed more flights, and-unsurprisingly-received more complaints.
Only three carriers saw improvements: Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Virgin America. Read it at ERAU.edu.
