Speaking at an event in Washington, D.C. this week, former Vice President Al Gore says he has changed his mind about the importance of the Electoral College, the Daily Beast reports. As one of two Democratic nominees this century to win the popular vote but lose the presidency due to the Electoral College system, Gore said, “I do think that it should be eliminated.”
Gore added, “I think moving to a popular vote system is not without peril, is not without problems, it’s not a simple one choice is all good, the other is all bad. It’s a balancing act. But I think the balance has shifted, in my mind at least, and I think that we should go to a popular vote.”

Why? Does the Electoral College contribute to global warming?
Silly human jovial nagging contempt for the electoral college. It favors wealth. No mistake to make America function so.
Hint- fun.
???????????????????
And to think that he was once so close to being president.
Same thing happened to him: he also won the popular vote but lost the election, so he’s a nogei’a badavar. However, if my memory serves me correctly, the Rabbonim said to vote for him.
I think a hybrid system can be figured out where the popular vote can make some difference and not like now where it doesn’t mean a lick.
Sorry loser, we have a constitution to live by
moot point. It ensures the little people don’t get overlooked by people claiming to be looking out for them. like this year.
Sore loser.
ב”ה this bozo did not become President of the USA.
Hey dufus! It’s in the Constitution! It’s the law of the land! But once you’re talking about eliminating – why not get your stupid green משוגעת eliminated!
What a surprise. Not that he’s nogei’a bedavar anymore but still, must be a bit biased.
John Kerry already told us that air conditioners are the single greatest threat to the future of this planet.
Scary.
