Amar’e “Yehoshafat” Stoudemire Rips Politicians, Black Lives Matter Supporters Over Israel Silence

Former NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire strongly criticized politicians and supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement for their silence in the aftermath of Hamas’ recent attack on Israel.

Stoudemire expressed his frustration in a strongly worded message posted on his Instagram page. In his post, he vented his disappointment at those who have refrained from condemning Hamas, despite its recent large-scale assault on Israel, the most significant attack in half a century. Israel has responded to the attack by declaring war on Hamas.

Stoudemire, known for his tenure with the New York Knicks from 2010 to 2015, became an Israeli citizen in March 2019 and completed his conversion to Judaism in 2020. His basketball career also included stints with Hapoel Jerusalem in 2016 and Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2020.

“I woke up, man, this morning with some disturbing news out of Israel – that Hamas kidnapping children, putting them in cages, killing women, killing the elderly. That’s some coward [garbage]. That’s cowardly,” Stoudemire said. “And for all y’all Black Lives Matter (supporters) who ain’t saying nothing, ‘Well let me figure out exactly what’s happening before I say anything,’ [Curse] you.

“Figure out what? It ain’t never been cool to kidnap kids and put them in cages. Ain’t never been cool to kill women and elderly. Never been, no matter where you from, what you represent, what tribe you from, it don’t matter. It ain’t never been no cool thing. That ain’t never been nothing nobody supported. And then you go and hide and put the kids in front of you as a barricade. That’s some coward [garbage].”

“All you politicians who have something to say on the contrary – I see you. [Curse] you. All you Black Lives Matter people who always have something to say and always supported everything else and you quiet now – [Curse] you too,” Stoudemire said. “Only place in the world where I can go and study Torah and eat Kosher food. Only place in the world. Some coward [garbage], dog, and all y’all support it — [Curse], you.

“On my mama, we don’t respect none of y’all for that. Peace.”
