Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer said on Friday that the Jewish state will allow U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) “out of respect for the U.S. Congress, and the great alliance between Israel and America, we would not deny entry to any member of Congress into Israel.”

Omar and Tlaib support the anti-Israel BDS movement. The former told Jewish Insider on Wednesday that she will be going to Israel and the Palestinian territories in a few weeks.

“I am going in a couple of weeks, and so I’ll learn more,” Omar told the outlet. “But truly, everything that I hear points to both sides feeling like there is still an occupation.”

“Israel’s Foreign Ministry can recommend diplomatic exceptions for law denying entry to BDS supporters, but due to visit’s sensitivity, the premier would have to make the call,” reported Haaretz.

Since entering Congress in January, Omar has made multiple anti-Semitic and anti-Israel remarks.

In February, she accused the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the largest pro-Israel lobbying organization, of paying members of Congress to back Israel, saying it was “all about the Benjamins.”

The following month, she pointed fingers at her “Jewish colleagues” for attacking her and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) for labeling their criticisms as anti-Israel because of the Muslim faith of the two congresswomen, in addition to slamming her critics regarding “the political influence in this country that says it is OK to push for allegiance to a foreign country.”

This led to the passing of a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives condemning anti-Semitism and other forms of hatred that did not call out Omar by name.

Meanwhile, since entering the House of Representatives, also in January, when she displayed a map with a note posted over Israel that reads “Palestine,” Tlaib has made controversial, anti-Israel remarks.

Shortly thereafter, she attacked Republican lawmakers and opponents of the anti-Israel BDS movement by saying “they forgot what country they represent.”

Moreover, Tlaib met with Hezbollah supporter Abbas Hamideh, who has said that Israel is a “terrorist entity,” even though the congresswoman said that “I do not agree with the statements brought to my attention.”

In May, she said that Palestinians enabled a “safe haven” for Jews after the Holocaust, thereby reiterating her support for a one-state solution.

  1. Israel is weak and powerless. The only strength they have is towards Chareidim. It would be advisable for Israel to become the 51st State of America where President Trump, a real leader, will handle and guide Israel’s PM.

  2. The secular government is always capitulating to those that hate them. Bending over backwards so the BBC should love them. Sick weak cowardly nation. Thank G-d I don’t live there.

  3. This Didn’t Make Her Bio Page: Democrat Ilhan Omar Was Arrested In 2013 For Trespassing
For some reason this did not make her bio page.
(Gateway Pundit) – Democrat lawmaker Ilhan Omar was arrested in 2013 for trespassing.
The lawmaker refused orders to leave a hotel in Minneapolis after a visit to the city by former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Omar defied police and sneaked back into the hotel where the president was staying. She then refused to leave the hotel after she was repeatedly told to leave by the police.
Not surprisingly, she was as arrogant and rude then as she is today.
Via Alpha News in October 2018:
State Rep. Ilhan Omar was arrested in 2013 for trespassing and booked at Hennepin County Jail “to prevent further criminal conduct,” according to a newly uncovered police report.
The incident took place on January 18, 2013 following an event at the Minneapolis Convention Center featuring former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. The Somali president was set to stay the night at the Hotel Ivy, causing large groups of Somalis to follow the presidential convoy to the hotel, including Omar.
According to the police report, hotel staff requested police assistance in clearing the lobby, saying that anyone without a hotel room key was not welcome on the premises and needed to leave immediately. The officer handling the incident said the majority of people who were asked to leave were compliant. However, Omar, when approached, was “argumentative” and refused to leave.
“As she stood her ground and refused to leave I took hold of her left elbow to escort her from the lobby. Omar then pulled away from me stating, ‘Don’t put your hands on me!’ Others in her group complied and began walking toward the front entry/exit door as I ordered and I managed to coax Omar out with them,” the police report reads.
Ten minutes after the original encounter, the officer reports finding Omar seated in a different area of the lobby. According to the officer’s account, Omar “remained defiant” as he informed her that she would be arrested for trespassing if she didn’t leave.
Since she refused to comply with orders, the officer arrested Omar. The officer reached for Omar’s left arm to get her to stand so she could be handcuffed, but she pulled away. The officer handcuffed her while she stayed seated in the hotel lobby chair.
Alpha News included a copy of the police report.

  4. What do you think will happen when she gets here? She’s just going to open her pisk and speak against the State. Of course we can’t touch her because it will only show that we hate muslims. There will be brinkmanship in a major way, and Bibi will be afraid to have her arrested. Easiest way is to prevent her from coming.
