anti-bennett-adThe Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party plans to file a complaint with police over an elections ad that uses Holocaust imagery and accuses party head Naftali Bennett of trying to put Jews in a ghetto.

Sources in the party said that they would file a complaint for incitement and for an affront to public decency.

The image shows Bennett behind barbed wire, next to a picture of the Jewish Home logo redrawn as a yellow star similar to those Jews were forced to wear under Nazi Germany. The caption on the ad is “The Jewish Ghetto, headed by Naftali Bennett.”

The ad was posted Tuesday on the Likudnik website, a pro-Likud site not affiliated with the party. Likud Beytenu leaders said they were not behind the ad, and told the Jewish Home party to file a complaint in order to find out who was.

However, the source of the ads appears to have outed himself. Likud supporter Moshe Ifargan spoke to Arutz Sheva on Tuesday and said he was behind the campaign, and has no regrets.

“I do not apologize for using the word ‘ghetto,'” he said. “It is a term that speaks of isolationism and of the price of nationalism.”

  1. Forget Broadway, Videos or Secular Books, there is nothing as exciting, versatile, colorful and hateful as Israeli pre-election rap.
