Yesterday, terror-supporter and anti-Semite Representative Ilhan Omar shared an image on social media depicting what she claimed were the casualties of Palestinian children allegedly “killed” by the Israeli military.
The post on X made an assertion stating that 614 Palestinian children had purportedly lost their lives in the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel.
However, it was discovered that the image of dead children had originally appeared in a National Geographic article back in 2013. These deaths had occurred outside of Damascus, Syria, on August 21, 2013, following their exposure to chemical weapons, as reported by the magazine.
The congresswoman subsequently re-shared this post on her personal X account, but then removed it approximately an hour later.
Since her election to Congress in 2018, Ilhan Omar has been an outspoken critic of Israeli policies, although she had to issue an apology after facing backlash from fellow party leaders due to her tweets about Israel.
In the aftermath of last week’s Hamas terrorist attack targeting Jews, Omar has continued to voice her opposition to Israel’s retaliatory actions in Gaza, expressing concerns that they will exacerbate an impending humanitarian crisis.
