iwatch-iphone-6After years of speculation, Apple announced the iWatch at its iPhone 6 launch event today. Calling it “the next chapter in Apple’s story,” CEO Tim Cook unveiled the stainless-steel watch, which is full of applications and has sensors on the back to pull data from your wrist to make it “a comprehensive health and fitness device.” It will arrive in early 2015 and sell for $349.

Apple also revealed the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, which are both slimmer and larger than previous iPhones, and will go on sale for preorders Sept. 12. The iPhone 6 Plus screen is 5.5 inches long diagonally.

The company displayed a new application called Apple Pay, which stores credit cards and allows users to make payments by tapping iPhones. Read more at TechCrunch.
