Hezbollah’s long-awaited rocket strike against Israel on Sunday was met with scorn and ridicule throughout the Arab world, with many mocking Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the terrorist organization, as the mastermind behind what has been dubbed the “chicken massacre.”
On Sunday, Hezbollah fired 320 Katyusha rockets at Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Senior Commander Fuad Shukr last month. However, Israel largely neutralized the attack. Although Hezbollah claimed it had targeted 11 military sites, reports emerged indicating that the group had instead inflicted damage on chicken farms in northern Israel.
One Arabic-language social media post, with over 44,000 followers, mocked the incident, stating, “The chicken massacre was not a coincidence, but a strategic plan! The goal? To prevent the opponents and enemies of the ‘resistance’ from gloating after every bombing and saying they didn’t even hurt a chicken.”
Another post on X, with 83,000 followers, sarcastically lamented, “A chicken coop was destroyed, killing a number of chickens and chicks and breaking thousands of eggs. Damn you scoundrels, you and the Iranian Houthis, you laugh at the Arab peoples, you and the Zionists are two sides of the same coin, implementing one project and one goal.”
Israel responded to the Hezbollah attack by deploying 100 fighter jets, which struck more than 40 launch sites in southern Lebanon, successfully neutralizing thousands of rocket launchers. According to Israel, this action prevented what could have been a much larger offensive by Hezbollah.
Hezbollah’s promise that Sunday’s strikes were just the beginning of their retaliation for Shukr failed to impress many. One social media user sarcastically posted, “Allahu Akbar! Hassan Nasrallah’s response! Hezbollah’s response! The number of chicken injuries rose to 27 chickens, 5 of them are critically injured, with first-degree burns to the wings and beak, after the chicken pen was targeted in response to the assassination of Fuad Shukr.”

Nassrallah is a narsacis to the core and knowing the Arab world are laughing at him and Israel has destroyed 6000 rocket launchers and the rockets they were going to fire will have this little devil stamping his little Islamist feet to pain.
