After the discovery that thousands of army doors have invalid mezuzos or none at all, the Army Rabbinate launched Project Lintel and set up 6,000 mezuzos in hundreds of military dormitories.

“The project was a significant response to demand from all units for mezuzos that are kosher lemehadrin,” said Army Chief Rabbi Eyal Karim. “Now that we have finished the dormitory rooms, we will energetically continue to the next step that includes the rest of the buildings and installations.”

  1. Just make sure that whoever puts up these mezuzos does so properly and doesn’t throw away the instructions that are rolled up inside!!

    • Stupid comment from someone who knows nothing about the IDF.

I am a Rov in the IDF. Every single IDF, IAF, and INF base has siddurim, tehillim, and chumashim. The larger bases have at least one beis medrash, and have both chalevi and busari kitchens under the strict supervision of the IDF Rabbinate. And almost every IDF location has shiurim on a regular basis.

And, by the way, “From Ebay or Amazon?”, you need a refresher course in English grammer.

It is “army bases”, NOT “army basis”. Duh.
