BMW: The most important thing? The Mishna in Kiddushin lists 6 Mitzvos Haben al ha’av, and a seventh add on is Vyesh omrim af lehashito benahar.
he worked with kids who were disabled
He was a wonderful soul, he served in the IDF, he was always there for his freinds when they needed him, he worked with Woman’s League andwas on a trip with the disabled kids when this happened
Learn a mishna in his memory
say a perek tehilim for his neshama
give tezdakah in his zechus
Do something, do it right now!
to “teach your child to swim,” he may have known how to swim and somehow been shocked, perhaps by the temperature of the water, or he might have started coughing … etc. None of these go well in water.
People need to take precautions; life jackets for boating passengers is a very good idea.
Aryeh worked with children who are disabled. The kids were on a boating trip when this tragedy happened. He was a person who devoted his energies to those not as fortunate as he was. Baruch Dayan Haemes. We are in Elul. Mi yichyeh oomee yamus. Daven hard, maybe your tefilla will be the one to open the gates of shamayim.
First of all, I’d like to say that if i had to define Aryeh, I’d use the word Chesed… he was the kindest, sweetest, purest neshama out there, and wheather he knew how to swim or not, or precautions were taken or not, it doesn’t matter at this point, and it is very out of place for peopel to make comments like that at the moment- how so inappropriate- Shame on you! This isn’t what his family or friends need now. Whatever happened to trying to comfort the mourners? Aryeh I will miss oyu for the rest of my life. Thank you for teaching me so much about love, friendship, kindness, and truth.
he knew how to swim. the cause is unkown. please stop assuming. the media is being cruel to the family.
