Michael Steven Sandford, a 20-year-old British man was indicted on weapons charges on Wednesday for trying to steal a gun from a police officer during a Las Vegas rally for Donald Trump.
The indictment does not accuse of Sandford of plotting to kill Trump, but at the time he stated that was his intention.
Sandford faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of $250,000 for each charge. He is facing two felony counts for being an illegal alien in possession of a gun and one felony count of impeding and disrupting the orderly conduct of government business. Read more.
