Audio: “Ahallela” Capturing Hearts of American Torah World

chasunah[Audio below.] The latest song capturing the hearts and neshamos of Yidden across the North American Torah world is Ahallela Elokai Ve’esmecha Bo, a fantastic melody with a unique flavor.

Following niggunim like Ki Hirbeisah and numerous others from leading Chassidishe composers, Ahallela is comprised of three parts that build momentum, reaching a scintillating apex.

The niggun was first released in Eretz Yisroel last year as a single by popular singer Arele Samet.

The words are from the piyutim recited on Simchas Torah. They are:

“.אהללה אלוקי ואשמחה בו ואשימה תקותי בו אהודנו בסוד עם קרובו אלוקי צורי אחסה בו”

The song was composed by Reb Yaakov Yosef Buksbaum of Skver.

    amazing song. just heard it at a wedding and didn’t know what the words were. sounded like chinese. but now i see that the last word are “echseh bo.” i couldnt tell from the singer.
