  1. vehatzneiah leches im elokecha

may we all have the sechel to deal with this properly.

Rabbi Zweibel, keep up your avodas hakodesh

  2. Let’s simplify this:
If you SEE your child, or any child, being molested, you must go to the police immediately and report it.
If your child tells you speicifcally that he/she was molested, detailing the event, you must go to the police immediately and report it.
If your child tell you in a round-about manner, without specifics, that he/she was molested, speak to you Rabbi.
If you suspect that molestation has or is taking place, speak to you Rabbi.

  3. #6. You have it right. The problem is, the abused will almost never speak up out of fear and shame; so to say the kid says it in a roundabout way is insane.

BTW, when was the last time a witness saw abuse taking place?!

  4. #6 – I dont agree. Thats your interpretation. The whole idea is that you need to ask a Rav what is Raglayim Ledavar. You decided on your own. Seeing something certainly is. More than that, you are presenting your own psak.
