avraham-friedYerushalayim’s Shaare Tzedek Medical Center, which will be celebrating 110 years since it opened its doors, has announced a major gala concert to mark that occasion.

The gala will feature world renowned singer Avraham Fried and will serve as the launch of a world tour to mark the 30th anniversary of his career in Jewish music.

Fried will perform many of his proven hits over the last three decades, combined with original songs being released for the first time for this concert. Joining Fried will be famous Israeli singer Rami Kleinstein, a reflection of Fried’s enthusiasm to create music with artists from many different backgrounds.

Danny Kaizler, director of Bama Kehalacha-Israevents, said that Fried is extremely excited about this special performance and in particular for the opportunity to perform alongside Kleinstein.

“Avraham knows that Rami is one of the most popular and creative acts on the Israeli music scene and believes that there is no more appropriate way to launch his anniversary tour than here in Jerusalem and in tribute to a special institution like Shaare Zedek,” Kaizler said.

The gala will also feature an originally developed film clip that will explore the unique role that Shaare Zedek has played in Yerushalayim’s modern development.

Treating over 300,000 patients each year, the Shaare Zedek name has become increasingly well-known both across Israel and around the world for top-quality medicine delivered with compassionate care.

The concert, which will take place on December 8 at 8:30 p.m. at the Jerusalem International Conference Center – Binyanei Hauma, will feature numerous multimedia displays utilizing advanced technology

  1. Shaarei Tzedek is an important hospital that helps a lot of frum people especially new moms. They make the effort to keep it Shabbosdik and are very frum friendly, employing many religious Jews. The people who work there are great. Local companies bring Shabbos for to the hospital and emergency room erev Shabbos, resulting in people who got stuck in an emergency having something beautiful to eat who would otherwise have a miserable Shabbos. They should all be blessed with good health and success. I wish them all lots of hatzlacha and I am sure Fried will get a big zcoos for his support.
