werdesheim-baltimoreBaltimore – One of two brothers on trial in the beating of a Baltimore teenager jumped out of his seat during court proceedings this morning to render aid to a courtroom observer who passed out.

WBAL-TV 11 News reporter Lowell Melser tweeted shortly after 10:30 a.m. that an observer in the courtroom passed out.

“As soon as she passed out, Avi Werdesheim jumped up out of his seat to render aid,” Melser tweeted.

The woman was okay when she left the courtroom with emergency workers.

Werdesheim, and his brother Eli, are accused of beating a teenager while on a neighborhood watch patrol in the 3200 block of Fallstaff Road on Nov. 19, 2010.

Last month, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Pamela White granted the defense’s request for a bench trial and is hearing the case.

  1. I could almost guarantee you these boys did nothing wrong. The only reason this is going as far as it has is because the victim is black, but I guarantee you if the victim was white, or Jewish white, and if the accused was black, this wouldn’t get one drop of attention. The world is tziters in their hoizen from these chayos hasodeh.

  2. Well they just accomplished more in proving their character than any lawyer could have done! Beautiful!
