Breaking with President Donald Trump, outgoing Attorney General William Barr said Monday he saw “no reason” to appoint a special counsel to look into the president’s claims of election fraud or the tax investigation into the son of President-elect Joe Biden.
In his final press conference, Barr also broke with Trump in reinforcing that federal officials believe Russia was behind the cyberespionage operation targeting the U.S. government. Trump had suggested without evidence that China could be responsible.
Barr said the investigation into Hunter Biden’s financial dealings was “being handled responsibly and professionally.”
“I have not seen a reason to appoint a special counsel and I have no plan to do so before I leave,” he said.
Barr also told The Associated Press in a previous interview that he had seen no evidence of widespread voting fraud, despite Trump’s claims to the contrary.

Like Barr said, history is written by the victors. Prior to the election Barr completely on board Trump train, Trump losses, CAn’t jump off the train fast enough. Fox news sent letter from Dominion’s lawyers now they are back pedaling their craziness. Hope Matzav does it as well.

I agree I was A trump supporter but at the end of the day he is a sore looser and a crazy person had he behaved normal for a couple of months he would have won, but he cant help himself its always only about him and only him. We have to have hakaros hatov for him but he has no problem destroying people lives the minute they disagree with him, just look how he destroyed Michel Cohen and the list goes on and on he is just not a nice person he is full of ego and he is not a person frum Jews should respect.
