Alta Fixsler, a 2-year-old Jewish girl, was tragically nifteres a short time ago after British authorities ruled that she must be taken off life support.

Alta z”l was born with an irreversible traumatic brain injury that left her in a vegetative state for the duration of her tragically short life.

Her parents waged a protracted legal battle against British medical authorities to keep her on life support or have her transferred to a country that would provide her with the life-saving treatments she needed, but were ultimately denied.

  1. one word Murderers. Nothing is by chance. These British killers are the incarnation of the wicked Sodom of this week’s parsha

  2. BD”E Tragic. Sad. Traumatic. And very telling.

At the risks of sounding very insensitive, however, could Matzav take an elementary level class in Dikduk. She was not NIFTERES. She was NIFTARAH. Once she was NIFTARAH is is the NIFTERES. Niftarah is a verb. Nifteres is a noun.

Matzav may be the “Jewish World at Your Fingertips” but it is certainly NOT the Jewish Language at the TIPS of our tongues.

  3. She was נפטרה. She was not נפטרת. When referring to her she’s “the נפטרת”. A proper sentence would be as follows:
She was נפטרה. They will be bringing the נפטרת to קבורה today.

    • Yes, we must certainly be Mispallel that all the severely evil judges and the severely evil doctors and the severely evil administrators & other staff members of the hospital who — with the purposeful belief that patients like these should be killed and thus — willingly took part in the effort to murder Alta Fixleer, Z’L, HY’D, will all be immediately removed from their positions of power and influence and will quickly die and be obliterated; Yimach Shemam V’Zichram!!

  4. Their action was cruel and inhumane. UK is guilty of murder. They will pay measure for measure. Alta’s memory should be a blessing for her family. Baruch Dayan Emes.

  5. the amount of money the UK spent keeping her in the hospital for no reason would have gone a long way to keep her alive. in another country. for the fixlers and for klal yisroel this is a terrible tragedy, but the bigger tragedy is that the rest of the world does not understand. all of us are crying
