It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Yaakov Meir Rosenzweig zt”l, rov of Even Yehuda. He was 77.
Rav Yaakov Meir fell sick a short a while ago and, after a short stint at the hospital, passed away.
He was a son of Rav Moshe Rosenzweig zt”l and a noted talmid of Rav Elya Lopian zt”l.
Rav Yaakov Meir served as the rov of the settlement of Even Yehuda for nearly fifty years, sparking a resurgence of Jewish observance and values in his community.
The levaya took place at the main shul in Even Yehuda and he was buried in the Even Yehuda Yarkon bais hachaim in Petach Tikva.
