Below is a heartfelt plea from Rabbi Eli Mansour who explains why these Rabbis are reaching out for your help:
Many rabbis talk about the internet problem, and they give pulpit solutions, quick one-liner or two pieces of advice – filter your phone, do this, do that. But obviously it’s deeper than that. The yetzer hara didn’t retire after all the conventions. The yetzer hara heard all the speeches, and said, “I’m not going anywhere!“
I’ve spoken to a lot of great rabbis, and they told me that at the end of times this is where the fight is going to be. It’s going to be in kedushah. And, I believe the yetzer hara is very threatened from GuardYourEyes, he’s finally met his match. He’s on the ropes, and the proof is the thousands of people on the site that are standing up against the yetzer hara.
GuardYourEyes has figured out methods based on Torah and cutting edge scientific knowledge in order to heal these people. We’re talking about religious people who are kovea itim and even bnei Torah that learn all day long. They all wear tzitzit, put on tefillin, and do all the mitzvot…
We have to put our energies, our know-how, our talents, and our money behind this organization. They are definitely messengers from the Creator to help this generation.
This is better than hatzalat nefashot. GuardYourEyes is an SOS call, saving thousands of neshamot. Here we’re not saving physical lives, we’re saving souls.
