They promised it would be ready by Pesach. When they noticed that they were getting closer to the deadline, they started working on Shabbos.
That’s when they lost all the Siyata Dishmaya.
Since then, the project has been plagued by consistent delays.
The following is a short synopsis of their misfortunes:
First the project went over budget.
Then they found serious mechanical flaws that require immediate attention.
Then the firm that was suppose to provide the train cars delayed their completion date.
Then the police announced that they found serious security flaws in the current layout.
Now their anticipated completion date is around 5 years from now!
