The Israel Airports Authority (IAA) is readying for the summer’s heavy passenger traffic load and warns travelers to prepare for extremely long lines at Ben Gurion Airport, Globes Israel reports.

The IAA estimates that during the summer, over four million passengers will pass through the airport, about 85,000 per day, some 1.8 million in July and over 2 million in August. In June, the airport saw an 8% increase in traffic, totaling more than 1.5 million passengers. Passenger traffic in Ben-Gurion Airport is usually at its highest on Thursday and Sunday.
