Passengers from the frum community will soon also be able to enjoy a glatt kosher meal at Ben-Gurion Airport’s departure terminal while waiting for their flight.
The Israel Airports Authority plans to issue a tender for the operation of a first-of-its-kind glatt kosher fleishige restaurant at the terminal’s duty free area, following the growing demand for such a service on the part of chareidi passengers. Companies with experience in the field, which will meet preconditions set by the IAA, will be asked to make bids for the opening and operation of such a restaurant for a period of four years.
