bezeqBezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. and its mobile subsidiary Pelephone Communications Ltd. announced yesterday that they will launch new combined landline/mobile plan in October at NIS 239 per month. The plan includes unlimited calls, SMS, and Internet access via Pelephone, a landline with 100 minutes of calls, and up to 10 Mbps Internet access. This is the first time that Bezeq and Pelephone are jointly marketing services.

The plan is for one year, and includes no subscriber commitment. It is possible to include Pelephone’s plan with different Bezeq telephony and Internet plans. The plan, for both new and current Bezeq and Pelephone subscribers, is being marketed after the Ministry of Communications approved it, following a decision not to intervene.

Bezeq VP marketing Ran Guron told “Globes” that the plan will change Israel’s telecommunications market in the long term, just as Bezeq changed the structure of the market following the joint marketing by Bezeq and the ISP companies two years ago. He said that the company was ready to market all telecommunications services soon.

Under the new plan, every subscriber can order up to five mobile lines at a cost of NIS 99 per line per month, effectively provided unlimited mobile calls with a family’s landline at home. Bezeq will handle the orders for mobile lines without the need for a customer to contact Pelephone directly. Bezeq willcontinue to send bills for the landline, while Pelephone will send the bills for mobile services.
