The Biden Administration has denied the recent reports which sail it had offered to trade Israel both intelligence and weapons if Israel would agree to end the ground invasion of Rafah.
On Monday, a National Security Council official told the New York Post, “We have already been helping Israel target Hamas’ leaders, and that work continues on an ongoing basis.”
“We’re not holding anything back,’’ continued the official. “We believe Sinwar should and indeed must be held accountable for the horrors of the October 7 attack.”
A report ran in the Washington Post last week claiming the Biden Administration was attempting to use intelligence on the locations of Hamas leaders as leverage in a bid to end the war in Gaza. Four people familiar with the proposed trade told the post the alleged intelligence would help Israel find Hamas leaders and it’s tunnels.
Meanwhile on Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote a message to mark Yom Ha’atzmaut. Blinken wrote, “On behalf of the people and government of the United States of America, I congratulate the Israeli people and their government as the State of Israel marks its 76th anniversary,”.
“The United States was the first country to recognize Israeli statehood when Israel declared independence in 1948. Our history of shared democratic values, trade, deep cultural ties, and commitment to regional security has provided the basis for our countries’ strong partnership and friendship,” continued Blinken.

Israeli intelligence is much better than American, so Biden has nothing to offer.
