President Biden referred to himself as “vice president” today while lamenting his inability to buy an electric Corvette — in the latest job title mixup from the commander-in-chief.
“I’m not going to be able to do it because I can’t drive a vehicle while I’m vice president,” Biden said during a virtual meeting with General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
Biden, who already owns a 1967 Corvette Stingray, quickly corrected himself, adding, “while I’m president.”
Biden, 79, was vice president from 2009 to 2017.
