Biden Claims ‘Foul Play’ Over Son’s Tax Probe

The presumptive US President-elect Joe Biden defended his son in an interview with Stephen Colbert on Thursday.

 “I am not concerned about any accusations being made against him,” Biden told the host, claiming “foul play” on behalf of the Republicans.

According to Fox News, Biden’s transition team later clarified that the “foul play” was on behalf of those attacking Hunter’s business dealings with Ukraine and China rather than the investigators.

The potential corruption scandal recently came up when the New York Post released a slew of articles based on a trove of emails recovered from a laptop that Hunter Biden purportedly forgot to pick up from a repair shop.

The authenticity of the emails, which alleged that Hunter Biden may have utilized his access to his father for personal gain, was not disputed by the Biden campaign, but Twitter and Facebook worked to quell the coverage of the story.

  1. Why do these reports ignore that the investigations into Hunter Biden goes back a long time, because by law every suspicious back activity has to be reported. Biden’s mass transfers of funds raised red flags that the banks were required to report to the authorities.
