President Joe Biden said that the United States would “unfortunately” not release the public records regarding President John F. Kennedy’s assassination because the COVID-19 pandemic has caused delays at the agencies responsible for organizing the records.
The decision was signed off by Biden in a memo and released by the White House on Friday.
“Temporary continued postponement is necessary to protect against identifiable harm to the military defense, intelligence operations, law enforcement, or the conduct of foreign relations that is of such gravity that it outweighs the public interest in immediate disclosure,” the memo states.

Breaking News: In response to the memo released by President Biden on Friday which blamed the Pandemic for causing a delay in the release of the JFK assassination records, the Pandemic released the following statement on Saturday night:
“In typical Biden fashion, the President on Friday blamed someone else for his own ineptitude. Mr. Biden used me, an ordinary pandemic, as his latest scapegoat and blamed me for his inability to release the JFK assassination records on time. However, while I do indeed have the ability to wreak havoc upon mankind, I am certainly not connected in any way whatsoever with JFK’s assassination, nor am I tied in any way whatsoever to the investigation into his assassination. I am merely a pandemic, and my expertise is solely in the field of infectious diseases. Murder investigations are certainly not my line of expertise!
Shame on you Mr. President for trying to scapegoat me for your own incompetence! Perhaps Mr. Biden thinks I have my eyes set on running against him in the 2024 Presidential election, and he is trying to weaken me politically, but nothing can be further from the Truth, for I have no need, or desire to seek elected office. I am quite satisfied with my current occupation.”
