Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday today that he intended to enter the 2016 presidential race but his son’s death changed his plans.

“It’s an awful thing to say—I think I would have been the best president” out of the current contenders, he told Good Morning America. When Biden’s son Beau died last May after a long battle with brain cancer, the VP decided against a run and has said it was the right choice for his family. “No one should ever seek the presidency unless they’re able to devote their whole heart and soul and passion into just doing that,” he said. “And, Beau was my soul. I just wasn’t ready to be able to do that. But, so, my one regret is my Beau’s not here. I don’t have any other regrets.” Read more at ABC News.

  1. Way to undercut your party’s nominee, Mr. Vice President. If you receive a parcel from the Clintons and it’s ticking, it may not be an alarm clock.

  2. Uncle Joe is seriously suffering from dementia and aught to seek some serious help. This idiot doesn’t seem to remember that Barry wanted to dump this dunce before his reelection campaign against Romney in 2012.
