The Biden administration is looking at ways to speed up the process of putting Harriet Tubman’s image on the $20 bill after the effort stalled under the Trump administration.

“The Treasury Department is taking steps to resume efforts to put Harriett Tubman on the front of the $20 notes,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during a briefing with reporters.

“It’s important that our notes, our money … reflect the history and diversity of our country, and Harriet Tubman’s image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,” she added. “So we’re exploring ways to speed up that effort.”

  1. Oh god. So the fact that thousands of taxpayers are getting sick and dying each day from Corona, is okay by this Psaki character, but to get racial diversity on a $20 bill, oh, that’s number one in importance! The fact that millions of citizens are unemployed, that doesn’t bother Ms. Psaki and team Biden. Putting a black female that 90%+ of Americans never heard of on a dollar bill, that’s more important than the average Joe living in small town America putting bread & butter on his table and feeding his family. How will putting Tubman on a $20 dollar bill HELP STRUGGLING AFRICAN-AMERICANS??? Sick sick evil administration. Priorities all screwed up, just to make the wealthy powerful priviliged WHITE elitist narcissists massage their WHITE guilt. Enough with these meaningless identity gender racial diversity politics! HELP THE CITIZENS SURVIVE & THRIVE!

Translation: It’s important that our notes, our money … reflect the politics and constituency of this administration , and Harriet Tubman’s image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,.

If you want to reflect history how about an American Indian on the $20. If you are desperate for someone black how about MLK? (Presumably MLK is disqualified for being male)
