President Biden in his first interview since being sworn in pledged that none of his family members will work in the White House.

Biden told People magazine that his administration will more closely resemble former President Obama’s, without as much family involvement as in former President Trump’s White House.

“No one in our family and extended family is going to be involved in any government undertaking or foreign policy,” he told the magazine. “And nobody has an office in this place.”

Trump’s family members had a significant role in his administration, with his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner working as senior White House advisers, although they waived government salaries.

  1. Well, duh. That’s because the Biden family, including Uncle Joe himself, are a bunch of incompetent bafoons who’ve never held a normal job. The Bidens have been government welfare cheats for 50 years. Hunter made the most, thru his fathers (“the big guy”) corruption, with the Ukrainians.

  2. Why make such a pledge?

The Trump white house definitely was a lot better off because of the Kushner’s involvement. If Biden has family members who have opinions of value to add by all means give them white house jobs

  3. Pres. Biden doesn’t want his family members working in government out of fear that the government will discover all the bribes taken in during the screening prior to approval. Simple as that. He cleverly words it in a way of doing something virtuous.

  4. and if you could believe old Joe, I have a bridge to sell you. he really thinks that the we are all so stupid. “Where’s Hunter?”

  5. none of his family members will work in the White House.

right – but his whole family will be working with China & Ukraine raking in MILLIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. The corrected heading: Joe Bidet says no family members are available to work in the White House – they are already too busy working in Beijing.
    You’re welcome.
