I would re-phrase the president’s quote to state that the Supreme Court’s decision today fortunately takes us back 3,300 years closer to the time of Kabbolas HaTorah when the halachos of Retzicha and specific heterim of Rodef were given and elaborated. Why stop at 150 years?
