Biden Victory Could Be Disaster For Israel

In an editorial titled, “As Israelis give up on peace deal, Democrats’ ‘solution’ would destroy Jewish state,” the New York Post noted that top Democratic Mideast-policy people like Obama-era National Security Council officials Ben Rhodes and Robert Malley—the people likely to set the agenda for a Biden administration—praised writer Peter Beinart’s recent call to strip Israel of its status as a Jewish nation and make it a “home” for Palestinians and Jews alike.

While Palestinians turned down countless proposals for a “two-state solution,” that doesn’t justify any hope that they’d live peacefully with Israelis in a unified state, the Post argued.

While “for Jews all over, it’s hard to imagine a greater blow than what would be, in effect, the destruction of modern-day Israel, a nation set up to protect them after the Holocaust and after centuries of anti-Semitic persecution across the world,” the one-state idea “fits fine “with the dreams of a rising Democratic faction of young Israel-haters and anti-Semites” like Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib as well as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who called for restrictions on military aid to Israel if it annexes areas of the West Bank, the editorial noted.

The Post also drew attention to the ousting of Israel-backer Rep. Eliot Engel last month in favor of AOC-backed Jamaal Bowman, whose pro-Israel bona fides are dubious, at best.

Hostility toward Israel was evident at the Democrats 2012 convention, when the floor booed the idea of recognizing the reality that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. In 2016, they fought over Palestinian rights, with Sen. Bernie Sanders leading the anti-Israel charge.

The hostility has grown since, as top presidential contenders boycotted the annual Aipac conference and threatened to use aid to pressure Israel.

Biden, meanwhile, was part of the team that forged an Iran nuclear deal that put Israel’s very existence at risk and is likely to undo all President Trump’s pro-Israel steps if he wins in November.

“What’s most notable, though, is that US Democrats aren’t just parting with US Republicans—but with the people of Israel,” the article concluded.

Haley: Biden Will Undo All Trump’s Good For Israel

Speaking in an online forum hosted by the Republican Jewish Coalition, former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley warned that a Democratic victory in November could wreck everything achieved by the Trump administration, particularly regarding Israel and Iran’s nuclear program.

“When [Trump] saw that we had to start partnering with Israel in a way that we showed not just the UN, but every multilateral organization, that if you’re going to mess with Israel you have to mess with the United States—[it was] hugely important,” she said.

“Look at the difference between Joe Biden and President Trump,” she continued. “Who is the person that moved the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? Who is the person that pulled out of the Iran deal? Who’s the person that allowed me to call out Hamas for the first time in the UN?”

Haley warned that Biden is moving closer to Democrat’s radical camp and taking foreign policy ideas from Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Senator Bernie Sanders.

Haley said, “actions are louder than words.”

Haley said that Biden and the Democrats will “try and get back into the Iran [nuclear] deal,” that they “automatically have already started taking sides with Hamas and the Palestinians saying that Israel shouldn’t have their sovereign rights,” that they are “not for the [Trump] peace agreement,” and “already buying friends at the UN trying to appease them.”

“I don’t want to see it go back to that. I think we worked too hard to get to this point,” she said.

  1. Everything in the write up is true. THEREFORE
we should make sure every Jewish person of faith (true faith) should vote for Trump. A Biden administration would be worse than Obama’s. Biden himself is not a bad guy, but he doesn’t have what it takes to govern. BLM supporters & sympathisers will run the show to the point that we would look with nostalgia at the “good years” under Obama.

    • Only those who are still in caves think the write-up is true. When will you wake and notice the difference between the one who’s not here anymore and his clone?

  2. While we cannot change the gentiles’ mind about this, it would be most beneficial if liberal Jews in the US would be made aware of a Biden administration’s hostility to the Jewish state.
Historically, liberal Jews vote Democrat as if their life depends on it.
Sadly enough, they do not realize that their own security in the Malchus shel Chessed Golus of USA will be jeopardized, if Ch”V Israel will get hurt.

  3. Golden. Nit not wage. The presumption a duck doo drift.

Can not we ask the best our president do more? I think he looks cradle robbed.

      • I do not vote DNC. Be well. We live is dug away shame. The general feeling is the young get it. Older generation is out of control. Biden seems attractive to the gross dunce population. Trump is attractive to the dunce gross.

To it, we know where prosperity is. REAL men. Not either seems to be brave in the home of new brave men. Added family.

    • Huh?
I have unfortunate memories of riding my bike as a kid on the sidewalks of Miami Beach, as lizards would dart across in front of my path, from the grass facing the street to the grass facing the homes. Many a time I unfortunately ran over them with my bike tires, as the speed I was going and the speed the lizards were going, coincided. It was never intentional. There was no way I could avoid it. I survived the encounter. They didn’t. I guess the lesson is, the grass may be greener on the other side, but getting there can be hazardous to your health. But the lizards came to visit us in our home on many occasions as they somehow got in without asking first. Hard to catch the sheretz.
Memory lane. Thanx. Wish I could back in time and start again.
