look: i do not think that shulls should be closed, as long as people wear masks and are careful then they should be allowed to. but this is the matzav the govt said that shulls need to be closed we need to follow the rules. we don’t always have to do the opposite of what the lawmakers say
Perhaps this levaya is a blessing in disguise. On Shivi shel Pesach I had a covid 19 related emergency. At 8am I saw people walking with talasim. People going into a shul to daven. On 14th ave. a bucher was coming out of the mikva. A big sign on the shul door that said shul sagur. In the afternoon I saw families walking to parents for the sudah. Maybe at least now people will get the message.
There is no law that you must wear a mask, just see DeBlasio not wearing one the other day. the law specifically states that you must only wear one when you are in a public place and can’t do social distancing. See https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/downloads/pdf/imm/covid-19-face-covering-faq.pdf
i saw people getting tickets now for not wearing masks, although they were 6-feet away from anyone else.
I heard a good vort. The next time an officer pulls you over and asks “do you know why I pulled you over?” Respond by saying “yes, because you got D’s in highschool”.
Stop it, already! With posts like these, we sound like Al Sharpton who are always crying victim!

And what did you get there?
Possibly F for Foolishly insulting authorities.
Wow so Matzav is now editing and splicing my original comment. How mature.
The FACT is that the liason went thru the 90th precinct for approval and the approval came from City Hall, WHICH IS WHY THE STREETS WERE BLOCKED.
The mayor, Comrade Warren Wilhelm Jr., changed his mind or whatever.
