President Trump proposed a bold idea tonight for the United States to assume control over the Gaza Strip, shortly after suggesting the relocation of all Palestinians from the area to neighboring countries. Speaking at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, who supported the plan, Trump stated, “The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too.”
Trump elaborated that the U.S. would manage the region, removing dangerous unexploded ordnance and other weapons, demolishing the damaged structures, and re-developing the land into an economic hub. He emphasized that the goal would be to create an environment offering abundant housing and job opportunities for the local population.
According to Trump, approximately 2 million Gaza residents would be moved to neighboring nations during a transition period, and they would not be granted the right to return after relocation. “Just can’t go back. If you go back, it’s going to end up the same way it has for 100 years,” he remarked.
The President also suggested that the U.S. would send military forces to the region “if it’s necessary” and envisioned a future where the Gaza area could become an internationally recognized destination, comparing it to “the Riviera of the Middle East.” He added that some Palestinians might be allowed to return. Netanyahu strongly supported the idea, saying: “I think it’s something that could change history and it’s worthwhile really pursuing this avenue.” The Israeli leader commented further, noting that he envisions a brighter future for the region, which has been the site of violence and conflict for decades. “He has a different idea, and I think it’s worth paying attention to this,” Netanyahu said.
Although Trump did not specify a timeline for either the U.S. occupation of Gaza or the relocation of its people, he framed his proposal as a carefully considered “strong recommendation” aimed at bringing peace. “I’ve studied this very closely over a lot of months, and I’ve seen it from every different angle,” Trump explained. “I spoke to other leaders of countries in the Middle East and they love the idea. They say it really brings stability and what we need is stability.”
The President pointed out that Hamas and Israel had recently reached a cease-fire agreement, a deal he had urged for before his inauguration on January 20, threatening severe consequences for Hamas if the deal, which included the release of hostages, was not finalized. Despite suffering significant losses during the 16-month conflict, Hamas continues to maintain control over parts of the Gaza Strip.
Trump warned that if Hamas fails to follow through on its commitment to free the hostages captured during the October 7, 2023 attack, the U.S. would take a more forceful approach. “The US would become somewhat more violent,” he stated. In response to Trump’s request, both Egypt and Jordan have rejected the idea of hosting Palestinians from Gaza, but the President remains optimistic that they will eventually agree. He also suggested that Palestinians in Gaza would welcome the chance to move. “Gaza is a hellhole right now,” he commented. “It was before the bombing started, frankly, and we’re going to give people a chance to live in a beautiful community that’s safe and secure, and I think you’re going to see tremendous outpouring of support.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump made additional comments about Gaza, stating in the Oval Office before his press conference that he believed the relocated residents “wouldn’t want to go back.” When questioned about the potential U.S. takeover of Gaza, Trump said, “I do see a long-term ownership position.” He added that many people he had spoken to were enthusiastic about the idea of the United States taking control of the land, developing it, and creating thousands of jobs. “Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent, in a really magnificent area that nobody would know,” Trump concluded.

I would vote for any man as president just to see this plan attempted. Even If this proposal fails It’s the closest anyone will ever get to pacifying the region.
US troops have been fighting alongside the IDF in Gaza, in the Gazan – Israeli tunnels, against Hezbollah and Syria, since Simchas Torah 5783. President Trump was head of the military while the fake Biden was acting president.
This is why the doctor keeps telling you that you need to take your medication regularly.
And Yrushaliyim and Shomron too??!! Put it on hold til worldwide terrorism comes under control, kiviyachol. What has Netanyahu been feeding him?
A huge factor in all of this is the Israeli left.
If Israel was to receive sovereignty and try to kick out all of the people that are a threat, the left over there would issue warrants and arrest the leadership and the military agents.
That is exactly why it can’t be given over to Israel and so the next best thing is this.
It’s still pretty bad idea for many reasons but it’s the best compromise or big ask in order to get conversation going.
But this is essentially a way to cut the baby in half like in the story of Shlomo hamelech.
Gaza in Hebrew means to cut. Cut away the Palestinians from gaza for relocation. Then, STRIP the territory of Hamas rule to make room for USA rule to TRUMP.
Of Course he’ll take Gaza. They are constantly yelling ‘free Palastine’. So if it’s for free Trump is taking it. 🙂
