Bill Gates has strongly criticized Elon Musk, accusing him of endangering vulnerable populations by drastically slashing America’s international aid commitments.
“The picture of the world’s richest man killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one,” Gates told the Financial Times during an extensive interview that touched on global health and philanthropy.
He went even further, stating, “I’d love for him to go in and meet the children that have now been infected with HIV because he cut that money.”
The rebuke came after Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency took decisive action in February, effectively dismantling the U.S. Agency for International Development — the main body tasked with managing foreign assistance and humanitarian support.
During the interview, Gates, 69, also disclosed that he intends to fully wind down the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation by the year 2045 and distribute $200 billion in philanthropic funds.
“People will say a lot of things about me when I die, but I am determined that ‘He died rich’ will not be one of them,” he explained in a post on his personal blog. “There are too many urgent problems to solve for me to hold onto resources that could be used to help people.”
“That is why I have decided to give my money back to society much faster than I had originally planned,” Gates emphasized.
Where does he get the nerve to spend my money on the charity of his choice? If he wants to give away all his wealth to third world countries that his prerogative
Why is it that if someone has a major bank balance suddenly his foolish espousements become gospel! This retard, who “fully stands behind” his ultimately empty commitments ($200 billion to save the poorest African kids from dying of aids? Really? How many has he saved so far?), is teaching another outlier how to successfully insure no one says about him after his death that he was a rich man. Please, give me a break!
This should actually make Gates happy, since he openly advocates for thinning out the Earth’s population by at least a fifth. Gates and his other nutty cronies believe that humans are a pollution and are destroying Earth simply by existing, and that the current population growth is “unsustainable”. Obviously, people of Gates’s stature are not part of this global destruction and must be kept around to make the decisions. But third-world populations are nothing more than resource grabbers and can be safely eliminated. That is why he invests in various “medical” charities in those countries, charities that sterilize the population to reduce them.
