As part of Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood’s Kollel Campaign, the four roshei yeshiva of BMG – Rav Malkiel Kotler, Rav Dovid Schustal, Rav Yisroel Neuman and Rav Yeruchem Olshin – and the mashgiach, Rav Matisyahu Salomon, will be visiting Lakewood neighborhoods over the next month.
This Shabbos, Parshas Tazriah-Metzorah, Rav Yisroel Neuman will be visiting West Gate for a Shabbos of Chizuk. West Gate is by far the largest housing development in Lakewood, home to hundreds of families of bnei Torah. A comprehensive program is planned.
Rav Neuman will be hosted by Rabbi and Mrs. Yisroel Verschleiser on Kingsfield Drive, where Rav Neuman will be greeted at a kabbolas ponim today at 5:45 p.m. Present will be the rov of West Gate, Rav Yosef Zimbal, and other neighborhood rabbonim, including Rav Reuven Halpern, Rav Shlomo Kadosh, Rav Moshe Oelbaum, Rav Aharon Walkin and Rav Avrohom Helberg.
Mincha and Kabbolas Shabbos will take place in a specially erected tent near the West Gate gazebo at 6 p.m. Divrei bracha will be delivered by Rav Aharon Walkin. Tonight, after the seudas Shabbos, an oneg Shabbos will take place at the home of Rabbi and Mrs. Binyomin Pruzansky, at 18 Kelm Woods Avenue, at 9 p.m.
Tomorrow, Rav Neuman will daven Shacharis in the shul tent at 8:20 a.m. For Mussaf, Rav Neuman will daven in the West Gate shul, led by Rav Yosef Zimbal, who will deliver divrei pesicha. Rav Neuman will share divrei bracha.
Shabbos afternoon, the tinokos shel bais rabbon of the neighborhood will be able to meet the Rosh Yeshiva from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. at the Verschleiser home.
Minchah tomorrow afternoon will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the shul tent.
Seudah shlishis will take place following Minchah. Divrei pesichah will be delivered by Rav Avrohom Helberg, and Rav Neuman will share divrei bracha.
For the convenience of the olam, regular minyanim will take place in all shuls at the regular times.
The BMG Kollel Campaign will conclude with the BMG Annual Evening of Chizuk, which will take place on Tuesday, June 1.
