Despite a looming hurricane, one certainty in Boca Raton, Florida this Rosh Chodesh Elul was increased Torah learning, as the Boca Raton Kollel celebrated its first pesichas hazman! The kollel gathered at Boca Raton Synagogue to mark its official opening, where Rabbi Efrem Goldberg offered divrei Torah and bracha and welcomed the kollel to the community. The kollel roshei yeshiva and avreichim danced in excitement with community members in a show of camaraderie and ahavas Torah, setting an energetic tone for the learning to come. The avreichim quickly began their full day of learning with the first perek of Maseches Shabbos. Rosh Kollel Rabbi Dovid May enthused, “Sharing such a high level of appreciation for Torah learning with the community makes this occasion even more momentous.”
