Bochur at Rav Tzvi Kaplan’s Yeshiva in Coma After Surgery

tehillimA yeshiva bochur learning in Yerushalayim at Yeshivas Kodshim, led by its rosh yeshiva, Rav Tzvi Kaplan, is in a coma just three days after breaking his leg when he fell Thursday night.

The bochur, who resides in Lakewood, NJ, was on his way into surgery when he collapsed. Physicians found that a piece of his bone went into the bloodstream and traveled to an area near his heart and caused a blood clot. The bochur fell into a coma and is on life support.

All are asked to say Tehillim for habochur Mordechai Shalom ben Sarah.

  1. Just to set this story straight he was never operated on. He broke his leg they gave him a cast and sent him home several hours later shabbos morning a relative walked in to his room and found him unconscious on the floor medics arrived and got him breathing. On arrival to haddasah hospital they placed him in a self induced coma. Doctors are speculating that it was caused by a blood clot. He is r”l in a very grave situation everyone should please continue to daven that he should pull out of this and have a speedy recovery

  2. Think about the situation, it’s serious, severe, sad. speaks for itself we don’t need pictures to inspire us, it’s somewhat melodramatic.
    If i was trying to get 2nd graders to daven, maybe I would put a pic.
