The IDF said that it expects the body of an Israeli citizen killed in an accident in the West Bank to be returned to his family in Israel. Israeli media reports said that the body of a young Israeli Druze man was taken by gunmen from a hospital in Jenin.
The Jenin Brigade, the terrorist group who apparently stole the body, said it will not release the body until Israel hands over the bodies of terrorists killed fighting Israeli forces.
Israeli security forces have arrested members of the group for their involvement in deadly terrorist attacks against Israelis.
The Israeli crossed the Gilboa border crossing and entered the northern West Bank city of Jenin along with another Israeli citizen, according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces.
The pair were seriously injured in a car accident before being treated in a hospital in Jenin. The surviving patient was transferred to an Israeli hospital after the other succumbed to his injuries.
The body of the Israeli citizen was “taken” from the hospital, the IDF said, adding that the body’s return is expected “as a humanitarian step.”
Jenin has served as a hotbed for Palestinian terrorist organizations, with the Israeli military working diligently to search for and arrest known terrorists operating in the area. –i24 News
It’s hight time already to give Abbas some ultimatums. He’s is in charge of the West Bank. Either Abbas gets the body returned to Israel, or else…… And while their giving him THAT ultimatum, they should also give him a similar ultimatum about future terror attacks emenating from terrorists in the West Bank. ‘Abbas, destroy the beehive in your midst, or else…….!’
These are supposed to be our peace partners.
Where is the outcry from the left at this truly barbaric act.
Although the victim isn’t Jewish as a Druze he doesn’t count.
Sort of like Asian Americans who have been elevated to White privilidgeby the left.
