Former Speaker of the House John Boehner told a private business gathering Monday night that Republicans are “never” going to repeal and replace Obamacare because “the American people have gotten accustomed to it,” according to a report in The Washington Post. Speaking to the group in Las Vegas, Boehner—who has largely avoided the public eye since retiring from Congress two years ago—said the legislation has simply “been around too long.”

He added, “Governors have gotten accustomed to this Medicaid expansion, and so trying to pull it back is really not going to work.” In a series of tweets Tuesday morning, President Trump remained positive about repealing and replacing the legislation. He wrote: “ObamaCare is torturing the American People. The Democrats have fooled the people long enough. Repeal or Repeal & Replace! I have pen in hand.” Read more at THE WASHINGTON POST.

  1. He is right, even though I wish he was not.
Americans love free stuff, and that’s what Obamacare is.
But the working class is paying for it, and it is killing us.
Actually, all this free stuff is killing us.
You can’t find a job or you don’t want a job? Why work when there is so may “goodies” available
These people should be made to work for the “freebies”. Clean the streets, work for free in the public schools cleaning, do something to pay for your keep.
STOP the handouts (other than in extreme conditions)
The middle-class is getting killed and the Democrats don’t care.
We elected the Republicans because of this, and now they are backing out.
    We are all in toruble

  2. “Why work when there is so may “goodies” available. These people should be made to work for the “freebies”. Hmmm, tell us who those people are…
